It would help protect their ears and at least part of their neck. I use Badger sunscreen when we need it. It's expensive, but I love the natural ingredients. Their sunscreen stick contains non-nano uncoated zinc oxide, extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, and natural vitamin E. Here's a link about non-nano uncoated zinc oxide. I would love to make some homemade sunscreen, but I'm a little nervous about working with zinc oxide. On really sunny days where we're out all day, like the beach or an outdoor festival or something, we like the California Baby stick. It's a little expensive, but since we don't use it often, we've been managing. I've been wanting to dabble in the world of homemade sunscreen for a while, but haven't gotten to it yet.

Thanks so much for sharing at Tiny Tip Tuesday!Sarah @ Natures Nurturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05007216988104127175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8661210990952801978.post-38699909771622682722012-07-14T06:06:18.448-07:002012-07-14T06:06:18.448-07:00Hi Kendra, how do you deal with the tops of their ...Hi Kendra, how do you deal with the tops of their ears and the backs of their necks? What worked at the beginning of my haircut doesn't work a few weeks later!
